Hospice is a specialized area of medical care that supports individuals and families in the final stages of a life-limiting illness. It also includes emotional, spiritual, and psychological support for the patient and the patient’s family members. As a provider of hospice in San Diego, CA, LightBridge creates an experience embodying grace, strength, and hope, and believes that families and patients can experience some of their closest memories together during this time. In addition to providing medical care and pain management, LightBridge Hospice in San Diego also empowers the entire family through informative and loving care.
As a registered nurse, I created LightBridge Hospice to help patients and their families move through the last stages of life with grace, strength, hope and comfort. I have learned through my work that Hospice is really about living. At LightBridge Hospice in San Diego, we believe that each day can be filled with comfort, peace of mind and precious moments that can be transformed into memories to be treasured. We are here to help make this possible. We will assist you with all of your individual needs and support the loved ones around you so that you might have more time to discover the joy and intimacy that comes from living life to its fullest.
I am blessed to work with an incredible team of skilled professionals and volunteers who are fully committed to this purpose and dedicated to providing a personalized program of care and support for each patient and family we are privileged to serve. Although facing a life-limiting illness is never easy, we are truly honored to walk this very important journey with you.

Our San Diego hospice team consists of Medical Directors, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Therapists, Spiritual Care Counselors, and Hospice Aides, all with the mission of creating a more positive experience navigating the end of a life-limiting illness, allowing patients and families to create more beautiful memories together in these last days.
LightBridge Hospice in San Diego also offers ongoing bereavement services for families of our patients for up to a year after the loss of their loved one.
We encourage families and patients to consider hospice as soon as a life-limiting diagnosis is received. Having a plan in place can reduce stress in later phases and can help families and patients better navigate the progression of the illness. In fact, LightBridge Hospice in San Diego has found that planning early can help families actually enjoy their time together and create more joyful memories.
Although it can be beneficial to consider Hospice early on, patients qualify for Hospice services once:
