Honor Ceremonies

Veterans on hospice service can receive an honor ceremony from a veteran and/or active duty volunteer. The ceremony includes a speech to the patient by the volunteer in military uniform, a presentation of the service pin followed by a salute. A certificate of appreciation and a pillow made from the uniform of their branch of service are given to the veteran.  Each ceremony concludes with the serving of an individualized cake to the family and photographs of the event.
